A foreword in one of Richard Carlson’s books described his series as a phenomenon, "reminding us with simple brilliance of what it takes to rise to our best and what we need to do to enjoy a life beautifully lived.” I believe this is what I am here to do - to help people do...“To live a rich life and have a large impact; To help create a world where we are happier, healthier, braver, and kinder.“

It takes courage to be happy

Judgement one of the quickest and most accessible ways to learn about yourself.

What we tend to judge in others is related to what we believe we lack in ourselves. And if you get familiar with what you believe about yourself, you begin the journey toward a life of peace, prosperity, joy and fulfilment.

There is an answer to what you are looking for if you are willing to look inside yourself. It takes courage to be happy.

When we judge someone, whatever the thought may be, there is an opportunity to gain an insight about who you are, who you have been, or who you want to be. For most people judgement sits on the level of reaction in their life and perhaps even for the rest of their life. (I don't know about you, but I'd find it really upsetting to live there!) For others it's a gathering of clues and fact-finding about themselves. Ultimately it can rule how happy you are in your life, or it can be a door to feeling freedom within yourself.

I've been to the deep dark place and can feel this in others if they are experiencing some of this too. It's like a shadow where judgement lives so powerfully because all the attention has shifted from the outside world to inside their hearts. I like to believe that this is actually a blessing, gifted to few.

To tell you a story of how judgment ruled my life will take another day. My message to you today is to seize opportunities rather than to let them seize you.

Step 1 - be willing to look.

Step 2 - notice when you judge - yourself, anyone, or anything.

Step 3 - decide you've found a clue and do your best to understand it.

One of your greatest responsibilities in life is your own happiness. You must be able to count on yourself for it and it begins every day when you wake up.

If you experience days where you are unhappy with your life, study your emotions and thoughts. All the answers are there, it just takes courage to look.
